Can you believe that in one day it will be December already?
If you haven’t done your holiday shopping or decorating yet then you have two chances to find me at a market. (Scroll down for dates!)
I have some lovely zero waste gifts and decorations made ready for your home. As always they are carefully crafted with love, from flowers that I have grown in my garden. I do not use plastic, glue or wire which means that at the end of their usefulness they can be composted and do not create any waste.
If you cannot make it to the Markets you can contact me directly to order for pick up in Ottawa.
Saturday December 3rd 12 – 4 I will be at the Winter Market at Ganden Gardens flower farm in Winchester, along with some other great local vendors. A great opportunity for getting all the holiday gift shopping done. Find out more here
Wednesday December 7th 4 – 8 I will be inside Morning Owl Parkdale during the Parkdale Holiday Night Market. Another great chance for a fun evening out while supporting local!
During the Parkdale Holiday Night Market I will also be doing a fundraiser and donating 20% of my sales to Causeway.
December Giving Season Fundraiser. If you have followed me for a while you will know that I usually do a fundraiser for Causeway during February. As I am hoping to be away in England during February 2023 I have brought this forward to December. From now until the end of December you can find my mini, medium and large dried flower bouquets in Morning Owl Parkdale with 20% of sales going to Causeway. If you do not know about the great work that Causeway does then find out more by clicking here. Causeway is a not-for-profit agency that helps people with mental illnesses and other challenges find meaningful, rewarding work and to live more independently.

Dried Bouquets at Morning Owl Parkdale. They have great coffee and treats too, so well worth dropping in for lunch!
As we head towards the end of another year I’d love to hear any questions you have or comments about what you would like to see in my blog. I am also thinking of starting a separate newsletter so let me know if that would interest you.
Thank you for following along on my flower journey so far.
