Holiday or Christmas Ornament Gift Bags

Happy Holiday Season! Outside the snow is falling and I am busy crafting unique handmade gifts to decorate your home and bring a little bit of the past summer and nature inside.

Each ornament is unique and lovingly made with flowers grown by me from seed – carefully nurtured all summer long then harvested, dried and added to my designs. Wreaths and stars are woven from suitable garden material and the flowers are added without the use of plastic or wire making each one compostable when it reaches the end of its life after years of enjoyment.

Glass Bauble filled with dried flowers, petals and grasses

All come with matching or contrasting fabric ribbon which is either linen, wool, silk or cotton and therefore reusable or compostable too.

Dried Hydrangea Sale – This Week only

While sorting through my dried hydrangeas for a special project I realized I have way too many.

So this week November 23rd to 29th I’m having a sale on beautiful pale sun bleached hydrangea bunches. Great for that trendy boho dried flower look but without the use of nasty chemical bleaches. My flowers are always grown by me in my garden without the use of chemicals and are completely natural not sprayed or treated in any way.

Get 8 to 10 stems in a bunch, depending on size, wrapped in plain recyclable paper for $20

They look great left in a bunch or spit up to fill several smaller vases.

You can contact me to arrange pick up at my home near Mooney’s Bay or on Friday 27th November I will be in Hintonburg for pick up there.

Winter is definitely coming soon!

Can you believe it?

This time last week I posted about the cold and snow but now the weather is amazing. Warm and sunny ☀️ What more could anyone ask for in November

I’m loving being outside and finishing cleaning up the garden. I’ve even had time to collect up more #lovelydeadcrap

I also got a lovely old wooden chair from a friend. No time to sit and rest today though…..back to work now as there is still lots to do.

As soon as the weather sends me inside I will start making dried flower bouquets and wreaths. Please get in touch if you would like a custom order.

Coming Soon!

The fresh flower season has ended as most of the garden flowers are now finished. The Autumn leaves have been as lovely and colourful as ever and I have enjoyed working outside tidying the garden and planting bulbs.

This week I have also been busy trying to sort and reorganize my workspace in the basement.

All my dried flowers are hanging out there waiting for me to make them into bouquets, wreaths, arrangements and other assorted things. But it is so dark and dungeon like that I just don’t like being down there.

Beautiful wicker basket of dried flowers

Yesterday I had the opportunity to fill this gorgeous wicker basket (that I recently got from @vintage.naturally) with a selection of dried flowers and take it outside for some photos……so much nicer than my dark dungeon of a basement.

Happy slow Sunday!

Follow me to keep up to date on when my dried flower wreaths and bouquets are ready. Or order now to make sure you get one!
