We are fast approaching the May long weekend when it is traditional to start planting up our gardens. The weather this May has been challenging, with days of record breaking heat that forced the tulips and blossom to burst open and then heavy rain that flattened everything.
Many of my seedlings have been delayed by the cool nights but hopefully now those are behind us and things will get growing fast as soon as they are in the ground.

It is always a challenge to manage time and energy at this busy time of year when there is so much to do but I have been trying to pace myself a little better than usual! My seedling sale is delayed getting up on line but hopefully it will happen today.
I will be available between 10 – 3 Saturday 21st May for pick up of orders, take orders or, new this year, book a time slot to come and browse the seedling selection and choose what you want.
UPDATE : only one appointment left for Saturday May 21
If you cannot make it on Saturday then contact me to arrange a different pick up day. See you soon!
COMING UP SOON!

In other exciting news I will be be at 613Flea as a vendor on May 28th.
I am looking forward to being there with so many other amazing local vendors, and meeting customers old and new. Stop by and chat all things dried flowers and gardens with me. I will have a selection of dried flower bouquets in different sizes, arrangements, wreaths, flower crowns, wearable flowers and lots more.

Pretty hair clips, boutonnieres and wrist corsages all trimmed with my own plant dyed ribbons.
Then starting in June I will be a monthly vendor at the Ottawa Organic Farmers Market. They are located at Riverside United Church parking lot at 3191 Riverside Dr., Ottawa. This is close to my garden and where I grow all my flowers. I am looking forward to being a part of this great local friendly organic market!

Enjoy your long weekend and all that is growing in your garden.
